Who We Are
Call Me Marigold is a small, local, eco-conscious florist, based out of Stamford, CT. Each of our custom arrangements are seasonal and one-of-a-kind, and, during the ~7 month local growing season, are made with flowers and foliage that are locally grown, right here in Connecticut and New York! Owner and designer, Elior Coleman, sources the highest quality and freshest flowers from the Connecticut Flower Collective, a cooperative of CT flower farmers who are committed to using sustainable and eco-friendly growing practices, other neighborhood growers, and even some from her private garden in her own back yard.
At Call Me Marigold, we don't use pollutive foam or plastic packaging, we recycle and reuse whatever we can, and we compost all our stems. We try our best to care for and respect Mother Earth in all we do. We are obsessed with flowers at Call Me Marigold, and we hope that when you get an arrangement from us, you'll feel the same.
About Elior
Hi! I am Elior Coleman, owner and lead designer at Call Me Marigold. I am a long-time middle and high school history teacher, turned florist. While I loved being in the classroom, becoming a floral designer was a life-long dream, and, like so many others, I used the tumultuous Covid period to jump into something new. In June of 2020, Call Me Marigold Flowers was born, and it has brought me unbelievable joy ever since!
